Civic Saturday returns to Highland Square for a third time on October 5, 2024. We'll hear poetry from Xposyur, music from Kate Tucker, Civic Reflections from Brant Lee, and announcements from the community, and we'll gather in Civic Circles to share our thoughts on building a stronger Akron together.

Stay after the program for the Civic Matchmaking Hour to meet your neighbors, enjoy free refreshments from local purveyors including Portal West Coffee, and connect with Akron organizations including The Summit FM, League of Women Voters, Freedom Bloc, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Summit County Continuum of Care, Rebuilding Ministries, People Feeding People, Summit Artspace, Akron Cooperative Farms, and more, joining us to offer resources, and ways to volunteer and support their impactful work.
